Muhammad Siddiqui was born on 1st November 1936 in Fatehpur, Bihar. He studied only two books of Urdu. Other than that, all his knowledge was the result of his personal studies. His father was a businessman. His brother, Azeem was much interested in literature and used to buy many journals and magazines. The reading of this material instilled a sense and interest of poetry within him. Following the advice of Ghyas Ahmad Gaddi, he started seeking the literary guidance of Ahmad Azeemabadi. He wrote under the pen name, Siddiqui. After partition he moved to Dhaka and from there, to Karachi. In Karachi, he started his own business. Izhaar-E-Aqeedat, Lamhon Kid Hoop, Saaye Saaye Dhoop, Sajdagaah-E-Dil and Sada Kaisi Hai are the collections of his works.
