About The Author
Rehmatullah khan was born on 23 April 1930 in Gawalior though he did not belong to that place. He used to write under the pen name of Nafees in beginning, but now he has stopped using any pen name. Nazeer Siddiqui says that despite being a poet he did not prefer to use a pen name. After partition, he came to Pakistan and served on various important posts of departments within the Government of Pakistan. After retirement, he lived in Islamabad where he died on 26 January 2005. Rasta Takti Dagar is the collection of his poetry that got published during his lifetime.
