Name:Mehjabeen; penname Najum; eipthet Ghizal. Domicile Mysore  and taugt Urdu in different colleges there۔ Other than a poetess she is also a fiction writer, a dramatist and an essayist, she has also worked on Hindi Urdu dictionary. Several of her works have been published: "Aao Gaein Khushi manaein" (Compliation of poems for children ). "Urdu Zuban ka Jadu" Volume 1&2 ( compilation of Educational games for students).''Pyaas" collection of short stories۔ "Krishan Chandra ki novel nigari aur nisaei kirdar" (krishna  handra as a novelist and his women Characters) "Pagal si Hawa" poetry collection is in press. She was a member of Urdu Academy (State Government) for three years. For her literary contributions she received  the highest state honour " Baba-e-Urdu Maulwi Abdul-Haq Award" and an  award  from the Uttar Pradesh Urdu academy, along with several other honours.
