Based on these books, it is clear that Asloob Ahmad Ansari has been inclined towards the analysis of different genres. On the one hand, he took a keen interest in the studies of Ghalib and Iqbal, and on the other hand, he discussed the quality of selected novels and Minhaj. He is especially interested in Iqbal and tries to unravel aspects of his poetry. The reason his writings are particularly insightful is that there is no innate bias towards Islam in his critique. As a result, his literary analysis is free of any premonition. He is also not bent towards any school of thought, sometimes there are glimpses of neo-liberalism, sometimes there are contradictory methods. In a way, his criticism reveals the autonomy of his mind. At most, it can be said that he wants to open the door of understanding for anyone who reads poetry.
Clarity and simple language are the key attributes of Asloob Ahmad Ansari’s writings. He has also written a lot in English. At least eight of his ten books have been published in English, with two editions and six compilations. An original work of his is centered upon William Blake.
