Divakar Rahi / Raghuveer Saran (1914-1968) was a renowned progressive poet in Hindi and was also a famed Urdu ghazal writer. He was an ardent believer in communal harmony and promoted humanistic values. He was a practising lawyer and was actively involved in politics. He was also known for his powerful oratory.
