Shahid Mahli’s quarterly magazine Meyar (1977) was also influenced by modernism. This journal published articles on many new subjects. In addition to modern Hindi literature and contemporary Indian painting, it also dedicated a significant section to Pakistani literature. In essence, it was a form of literary passion, aimed at introducing readers to new literature.
