سرمئی رات ہے ستارے ہیں
آج دونوں جہاں ہمارے ہیں
صبح کا انتظار کون کرے
پھر یہ رت یہ سماں ملے نہ ملے
آرزو کا چمن کھلے نہ کھلے
وقت کا اعتبار کون کرے
لے بھی لو ہم کو اپنی بانہوں میں
روح بے چین ہے نگاہوں میں
التجا بار بار کون کرے
