aalam us but pe mubtala hi raha
aalam us but pe mubtalā hī rahā
un meñ fidvī bhī ik fidā hī rahā
uTh ga.ī dostī zamāne se
āshnā.ī na āshnā hī rahā
na sunī tū ne ek baat kabhū
ham ko is baat kā gilā hī rahā
tum ḳhafā hī rahe 'tasallī' se
aur vo tum pe nit fidā hī rahā
aalam us but pe mubtala hi raha
un mein fidwi bhi ek fida hi raha
uTh gai dosti zamane se
aashnai na aashna hi raha
na suni tu ne ek baat kabhu
hum ko is baat ka gila hi raha
tum KHafa hi rahe 'tasalli' se
aur wo tum pe nit fida hi raha
