آنکھوں کا شور خون کی گنگا اتر گیا
اس غم نے کاٹ کھایا کہ دل بے ہنر گیا
گل مہر پہ خزاں نے لگائی ہے غم کی مہر
تیتر کھنڈر پہ شاخ کی سسکاری بھر گیا
چھاؤں میں چاند کے تھا مرے ساتھ ایک نور
سورج گرا جو سر پہ ستارا مکر گیا
دہکا رہی تھی لفظ کو لہجے کی تیز برف
یہ منجمد چراغ کیا سینے کو بھر گیا
پھلواریوں پہ نور کی تتلی نے گھر کیا
جگنو کنول کی شاخ پہ مہتاب دھر گیا
