jab parindoñ ke par nikal aa.e
us ne jab haath meñ liyā patthar
kitne betāb sar nikal aa.e
dil kuredā to us ke malbe se
yaad ke bām-o-dar nikal aa.e
barf thī barf ke pighalte hī
phuul us shāḳh par nikal aa.e
jis taraf raushnī nahīñ aatī
us taraf tū agar nikal aa.e
vo mire saath kyā chalā 'tābish'
vaqt ke bāl-o-par nikal aa.e
