آشیاں چھوڑ کر نکل آئے
آشیاں چھوڑ کر نکل آئے
جب پرندوں کے پر نکل آئے
اس نے جب ہاتھ میں لیا پتھر
کتنے بیتاب سر نکل آئے
دل کریدا تو اس کے ملبے سے
یاد کے بام و در نکل آئے
برف تھی برف کے پگھلتے ہی
پھول اس شاخ پر نکل آئے
جس طرف روشنی نہیں آتی
اس طرف تو اگر نکل آئے
وہ مرے ساتھ کیا چلا تابشؔ
وقت کے بال و پر نکل آئے
