is dayār-e-ġhair meñ bhī ham-nasab koī to ho
shor ghar tak aa gayā hai kūcha-o-bāzār kā
kuchh to aisā ho yahāñ pe mohr-e-lab koī to ho
karb-e-tanhā.ī liye āḳhir kahāñ tak jā.iye
hādisa hī ho agarche be-sabab koī to ho
saaz ke TuuTe hue tāroñ ko phir se joḌiye
naġhma-e-ḳhush-rañg yā soz-e-tarab koī to ho
shāḳh se TuuTe hue patte bahut māyūs haiñ
ek chingārī sahī un kā bhī ab koī to ho
