عدو پھر وار کرنا چاہتا ہے
عدو پھر وار کرنا چاہتا ہے
گلوں کو خار کرنا چاہتا ہے
ذرا کچے گھڑے کا عزم دیکھو
سمندر پار کرنا چاہتا ہے
مری تہذیب کی ٹہنی جلا کر
مجھے تلوار کرنا چاہتا ہے
سمجھ کے پڑھ کلام آسمانی
یہ کچھ اظہار کرنا چاہتا ہے
وہ میری روشنی کی سلطنت کو
اندھیری غار کرنا چاہتا ہے
جو سچ پوچھو تو دل کی بات کہہ دوں
یہ تم سے پیار کرنا چاہتا ہے
