اے محبت ترا اثر ہے کچھ
دیکھنے والو کی نظر ہے کچھ
ہے یقین و گماں عجب دنیا
کچھ نہیں ہے یہاں مگر ہے کچھ
یہ نہ کہیے کہ عشق کچھ بھی نہیں
دیکھیے دل کی شاخ پر ہے کچھ
کچھ نہیں ہے جدھر خرد کے لیے
اہل دل کے لیے ادھر ہے کچھ
زندگی کا اگر شعور نہیں
پھر بتاؤ یہ مال و زر ہے کچھ
کچھ بنا کر زمیں پہ بھیجا گیا
ہاں مگر فطرت بشر ہے کچھ
مجھ پہ کہنے کو کچھ نہیں سونمؔ
آپ کہہ دیجیے اگر ہے کچھ
