nigāh-e-garm ki sheroñ ke jis se hosh uḌ jaa.eñ
na āh-e-sard ki hai gosfandī o meshī
tabīb-e-ishq ne dekhā mujhe to farmāyā
tirā maraz hai faqat aarzū kī be-nīshī
vo shai kuchh aur hai kahte haiñ jān-e-pāk jise
ye rañg o nam ye lahū aab o naañ kī hai beshī
