اپنے خالی پن کو بھرنا چھوڑ دیا
تنہائی سے بالکل ڈرنا چھوڑ دیا
اب تو مجھ کو میرے حال میں جینے دو
اب تو میں نے تم پہ مرنا چھوڑ دیا
تم کو ہچکی آنے سے بھی دقت تھی
میں نے تم کو یاد ہی کرنا چھوڑ دیا
آخر تم پر ہجر اثر انداز ہوا
تم نے آخر کار سنورنا چھوڑ دیا
اس نے پنجرا کھول کے پہلی غلطی کی
دوسری غلطی پنکھ کترنا چھوڑ دیا
