apni rah-e-amal talash karo
apnī rāh-e-'amal talāsh karo
kho ga.ī hai ġhazal talāsh karo
āḳhirī had vafā kī aa pahuñchī
merā ne'mul-badal talāsh karo
chheḌ rakkhā hai qissa-e-ulfat
koī zarbul-masal talāsh karo
tum ko tūfān roknā hai agar
merī uljhan kā hal talāsh karo
ab tumhārā yahī hai kaam 'samar'
kho diyā hai jo kal talāsh karo
