بہت خوب نقشہ مرے گھر کا ہے
کوئی خواب پھر بھی نئے گھر کا ہے
جو تیرے سوا دل میں کوئی نہیں
تو کیوں شور اس میں بھرے گھر کا ہے
فضا ہے معطر ہوا ہے خنک
یقیناً یہ رستہ ترے گھر کا ہے
زمانے کی دل کو ہوا لگ گئی
وگرنہ یہ لڑکا بھلے گھر کا ہے
سفر زندگی ہے تو فاروقؔ پھر
خیال ایسے میں کس لیے گھر کا ہے
