bhūlā huā ulfat kā sabaq yaad kareñ ham
is ujḌe chaman ko chalo ābād kareñ ham
ye ḳhuun meñ Duube hue barbādī ke qisse
tārīḳh se ab ḳhatm ye rūdād kareñ ham
maazī ke fasāne haiñ mazāhib ke ye jhagḌe
in bātoñ meñ kyoñ vaqt ko barbād kareñ ham
logoñ kī taraqqī kā nayā rāsta DhūñDeñ
barbādī kā sāmān kyoñ ījād kareñ ham
ai mere ḳhudā tū hī bachā arz-e-vatan ko
ab jā ke kahāñ shikva-e-bedād kareñ ham
bhula hua ulfat ka sabaq yaad karen hum
is ujDe chaman ko chalo aabaad karen hum
ye KHun mein Dube hue barbaadi ke qisse
tariKH se ab KHatm ye rudad karen hum
mazi ke fasane hain mazahib ke ye jhagDe
in baaton mein kyon waqt ko barbaad karen hum
logon ki taraqqi ka naya rasta DhunDen
barbaadi ka saman kyon ijad karen hum
ai mere KHuda tu hi bacha arz-e-watan ko
ab ja ke kahan shikwa-e-bedad karen hum
