چھو کر کسی کی زلف معطر مچل گئے
جھونکے خنک ہواؤں کی خوشبو میں ڈھل گئے
کس سے کریں امید وفا اس جہان میں
اس دل کو جن پہ ناز تھا وہ بھی بدل گئے
جس وقت ہم نے جھوم کر عزم سفر
لاکھوں چراغ راہ محبت میں جل گئے
اے دوست ہم نے عشق و محبت کی راہ میں
ٹھوکر تو سخت کھائی تھی لیکن سنبھل گئے
نیرؔ ہمارے دل میں تھے ارمان جس قدر
آلام روزگار کے سانچے میں ڈھل گئے
