درد میٹھی زباں پہ رکھ آئے
تیر یعنی کماں پہ رکھ آئے
ایک لمحے نے مار لی بازی
لفظ اس کی زباں پہ رکھ آئے
رقص کرتے تھے چاند کے پاؤں
کچھ ستارے وہاں پہ رکھ آئے
عشق ایسے مقام پر لایا
سر کو نوک سناں پہ رکھ آئے
دل کی دہلیز پر جو روشن تھا
وہ دیاؔ تم کہاں پہ رکھ آئے
