دیار غیر میں جھنڈا گڑا ہے
دیار غیر میں جھنڈا گڑا ہے
سمندر ناؤ میں ٹوٹا پڑا ہے
تری بستی کا اب تو میں نبی ہوں
نبی سا وقت مجھ پر آ پڑا ہے
تعاقب میں ہے سورج دوپہر سے
مرے قد سے مرا سایہ بڑا ہے
یہ کیا بہروپ کس کی جستجو ہے
ہر اک چہرہ پہ اک چہرا جڑا ہے
بہتر اور مقابل لاو لشکر
مگر حق پر یہ وقت اکثر پڑا ہے
نظر ناگاہ اس پر جا پڑی تھی
ابھی تک بس وہی لمحہ کھڑا ہے
