le ga.ī mere tiis saal havā
paañv dhartī se uTh rahe haiñ mire
ho sake to mujhe sambhāl havā
aur phūñkegā bastiyāñ kitnī
aag se terā ittisāl havā
tū ki jalte diye bujhātī hai
mere zaḳhmoñ kā indimāl havā
vo to kahiye ki terā jism nahīñ
tū bhī ho jaatī pā.emāl havā
lauh-e-marqad pe āb-e-zar se likho
ho ga.ī hai yahāñ niDhāl havā
har qadam dekh-bhāl kar 'anjum'
bun rahī hai anokhe jaal havā

panw dharti se uTh rahe hain mere

tu bhi ho jati paemal hawa
