غم ہی قاتل ہے مرا غم ہی مسیحا ہوگا
اپنے بارے میں کوئی رائے نہ لیں مجھ سے حضور
آپ کے واسطے سچ نیم سا کڑوا ہوگا
جل رہا ہوں تو کسی کو بھی نہیں فکر مری
راکھ بن جاؤں گا جس دن مرا چرچا ہوگا
میرا وہ حال کہ سمجھے ہے تماشا دنیا
دیکھ لو یارو نہ روز ایسا تماشا ہوگا
یوں ہی آئے گی نہ اشعار میں تاثیر شجاعؔ
روح تخلیق میں لفظوں کو سمونا ہوگا
