دل کی ایک اک کنی بچھاتی ہوں
رات بھر روشنی بچھاتی ہوں
شاید آج آئے وہ مجھے ملنے
صحن میں چاندنی بچھاتی ہوں
دیکھیے ڈوبتا ہوا سورج
بیٹھیے اوڑھنی بچھاتی ہوں
اوڑھ لیتی ہوں ہجر بستر پر
اپنی خستہ تنی بچھاتی ہوں
خود تو رہتی ہوں دھوپ میں جاناںؔ
اس پہ چھاؤں گھنی بچھاتی ہوں
