اپنے جینے کا مدعا رکھنا
ہو نہ ہو گھر میں آئنہ لیکن
اپنے دل میں تو آئنہ رکھنا
کام آئے گا وقت رخصت کے
ایک آنسو کہیں چھپا رکھنا
جب گزرنا قریبی رشتوں میں
کم سہی ایک فاصلہ رکھنا
مسجدوں میں بھی ہو کہیں مورت
مندروں میں کہیں خدا رکھنا
