dil mera be-qarar kya kam tha
dil mirā be-qarār kyā kam thā
hijr bas ek baar kyā kam thā
os ne āñkheñ mujh se bhī māñgīñ
phuul phuul ashk-bār kyā kam thā
ham ne har ek kī taraf dekhā
ek parvardigār kyā kam thā
nāma-bar se to ḳhair bigḌī thī
mujh pe bhī e'tibār kyā kam thā
dil jalāyā hai kis liye 'rāval'
ik charāġh-e-mazār kyā kam thā
dil mera be-qarar kya kam tha

phul phul ashk-bar kya kam tha
hum ne har ek ki taraf dekha
ek parwardigar kya kam tha
nama-bar se to KHair bigDi thi
