ڈوب رہا ہے صبح کا تارا
ڈوب رہا ہے صبح کا تارا
مجھ کو اچانک کس نے پکارا
خشک ہوا ہر اشک ہمارا
رک گیا طوفاں تھم گیا دھارا
آپ پہ کوئی حرف نہ آئے
مجھ کو ہر الزام گوارا
سوز کی شدت اللہ اللہ
اشک ہے دامن میں انگارہ
تال سروں کے ساز کہاں اب
جھن جھن کرتا ہے اک تارا
دیکھ سکے گا دیدۂ حیراں
ان کا جلوہ ان کا نظارہ
عارض جیسے سورج چمکا
زلف ہے گویا شب کا نظارا
