ġham-fursati-e-ḳhvāb-e-tarab yaad rahegī
guzrī jo tire saath vo shab yaad rahegī
har-chand tirā ahd-e-vafā bhuul ga.e ham
vo kashmakash-e-sabr-talab yaad rahegī
siine meñ umañgoñ kā vahī shor hai ab tak
vo shoḳhi-e-yak-jumbish-e-lab yaad rahegī
phir jis ke tasavvur meñ barasne lagīñ āñkheñ
vo barhami-e-sohbat-e-shab yaad rahegī
go hijr ke lamhāt bahut talḳh the lekin
har baat ba-unvān-e-tarab yaad rahegī
gham-fursati-e-KHwab-e-tarab yaad rahegi
guzri jo tere sath wo shab yaad rahegi
har-chand tera ahd-e-wafa bhul gae hum
wo kashmakash-e-sabr-talab yaad rahegi
sine mein umangon ka wahi shor hai ab tak
wo shoKHi-e-yak-jumbish-e-lab yaad rahegi
phir jis ke tasawwur mein barasne lagin aankhen
wo barhami-e-sohbat-e-shab yaad rahegi
go hijr ke lamhat bahut talKH the lekin
