guzar auqat nahin ho pati
guzar auqāt nahīñ ho paatī
din se ab raat nahīñ ho paatī
saarī duniyā meñ bas ik tum se hī
ab mulāqāt nahīñ ho paatī
jo dhaḌaktī hai mire dil meñ kahīñ
ab vahī baat nahīñ ho paatī
jam.a kartā huuñ sar-e-chashm bahut
phir bhī barsāt nahīñ ho paatī
laakh mazmūñ lab-e-iz.hār pe haiñ
aur munājāt nahīñ ho paatī
haath meñ haath liye phirtī hai
ḳhatm ye raat nahīñ ho paatī
guzar auqat nahin ho pati
din se ab raat nahin ho pati
sari duniya mein bas ek tum se hi
ab mulaqat nahin ho pati
jo dhaDakti hai mere dil mein kahin

jama karta hun sar-e-chashm bahut
phir bhi barsat nahin ho pati
