حیف ہے ایسی زندگانی پر
کہ فدا ہو نہ یار جانی پر
تیری گل کاری ابر ہو برباد
گر فدا ہو نہ یار جانی پر
حال سن سن کے ہنس دیا میرا
کچھ تو آیا ہے مہربانی پر
خون کشتوں کے ہو گیا دل کا
تیری دستار ارغوانی پر
رات بیدارؔ وہ مہ تاباں
سن کے رویا مری کہانی پر
