ہم کو کچھ کام کیوں نہیں ملتا
درد کا دام کیوں نہیں ملتا
میں کہ آغاز ہو کے بیٹھا ہوں
مجھ کو انجام کیوں نہیں ملتا
لوگ کہتے ہیں زندہ لاش ہوں میں
پھر بھی آرام کیوں نہیں ملتا
کچھ تو گہرائی ناپ لے ساقی
زخم بھر جام کیوں نہیں ملتا
