phir chale aa.e haiñ tujh ko kho ke
dard kī fasl hameñ yaad rahī
biij ham bhuul ga.e the bo ke
aañkh ne dekhā magar kyā dekhā
aql ne aur bhī khaa.e dhoke
ek tūfān kī aamad aamad
ek aañsū koī roke roke
sab kī āñkhoñ meñ khaTakte haiñ to ham
koī itnā nahīñ us ko Toke
terā āshiq thā to le ye tābūt
āḳhirī kiil bhī tū hī Thoke
dekho 'mus.haf' ko jagāo na agar
abhī so.e haiñ bahut ro ro ke
