ہر ایک اجنبی بن کر نکل گیا یارو
ہمارا شہر بھی کتنا بدل گیا یارو
وہ آدمی جو زمانہ بدل گیا یارو
حصار وقت سے آگے نکل گیا یارو
میں ایک قطرہ ہوں میری بساط ہی کیا ہے
قریب شام تو سورج پگھل گیا یارو
کبھی جو آگ کے دریا کو پھاند جاتا تھا
وہ آج اپنے چراغوں سے جل گیا یارو
کسی کی بزم میں میرا پیام اے ناشرؔ
ہوا کے دوش پہ بن کر غزل گیا یارو
