har Khaar inayat tha har ek sang sila tha
har ḳhaar ināyat thā har ik sañg sila thā
is raah meñ har zaḳhm hameñ rāh-numā thā
kyuuñ ghir ke ab aa.e haiñ ye bādal ye ghaTā.eñ
ham ne to tujhe der huī yaad kiyā thā
ai shīshagaro kuchh to karo ā.ina-ḳhāna
rañgoñ se ḳhafā ruḳh se judā yuuñ na huā thā
in āñkhoñ se kyuuñ sub.h kā sūraj hai gurezāñ
jin āñkhoñ ne rātoñ meñ sitāroñ ko chunā thā

is rah mein har zaKHm hamein rah-numa tha
kyun ghir ke ab aae hain ye baadal ye ghaTaen
hum ne to tujhe der hui yaad kiya tha
ai shishagaro kuchh to karo aaina-KHana
rangon se KHafa ruKH se juda yun na hua tha
in aankhon se kyun subh ka suraj hai gurezan
jin aankhon ne raaton mein sitaron ko chuna tha
