کیا کسی کی آزمانی دوستی
تھے مسافر دو الگ رستوں کے ہم
ہو گئی بس ناگہانی دوستی
ڈھونڈھتا ہے ہر رفاقت میں نئی
دل ہمیشہ اک پرانی دوستی
دفن ہے سینے میں میرے آج بھی
اس کی میری آنجہانی دوستی
دوستوں کو دل دکھانا آ گیا
آ گئی ہم کو نبھانی دوستی
کچھ تو تیری بھی خطا ہوگی فروغؔ
گر ہوئی ہے سرگرانی دوستی
