محبت پھر بھی کر بیٹھے کسی سے
سمجھ لو ہو چکا ہے عشق کامل
بدن جلنے لگے جب چاندنی سے
نہ جانے منتظر ہیں کس کی آنکھیں
نظر ہٹتی نہیں اپنی گھڑی سے
کہانی میں نے جب اپنی سنائی
لپٹ کر رو پڑے بھونرے کلی سے
محبت میں ضروری ہے یہ سونمؔ
کبھی مت کیجیے شکوہ کسی سے
