حسن کا اعتبار مت کرنا
چڑھتے سورج سے پیار مت کرنا
خون ناحق سے سر زمین وطن
تم کبھی لالہ زار مت کرنا
شاق ہوگی چمن کی تنہائی
پنچھیوں کا شکار مت کرنا
جا رہا ہوں میں تجھ سے دور بہت
اب مرا انتظار مت کرنا
زندگی اک فریب ہے آزرؔ
اس کا تم اعتبار مت کرنا
