اک دو اپنے یار ہوئے
باقی سب اغیار ہوئے
اب تو زمانہ بیت گیا
محلوں کو بازار ہوئے
لفظوں کے کچھ تیر چلے
اور لہجے تلوار ہوئے
کتنے ساون بیت گئے
گوری کا دیدار ہوئے
پانی سے تھا خوف جنہیں
کیسے دریا پار ہوئے
