اس قدر جذبات میں ہم بہہ گئے
اس قدر جذبات میں ہم بہہ گئے
جو نہ کہنا تھا زباں سے کہہ گئے
زندگی نار گراں تھی دوش پر
ان کی یادوں کے سہارے سہہ گئے
دشمنوں نے غم گساری کی وہاں
دوست جن راہوں میں پیچھے رہ گئے
زندگی پر موت کا احسان ہے
حادثے سب ہاتھ ملتے رہ گئے
کون کر سکتا ہے لہروں کا شمار
سلسلے یادوں کے نغمیؔ کہہ گئے
