terī ḳhātir maiñ ne sab kuchh kho diyā
tū ne phir bhī ham-nashīñ chhoḌā mujhe
boltā huuñ jhuuT apne aap se
dil se to us ne nahīñ chhoḌā mujhe
ham tujhe sab kuchh samajhte the 'shafīq'
tū ne apnā kuchh nahīñ chhoḌā mujhe

teri KHatir main ne sab kuchh kho diya
