جب لکھا ہم نے خط اشکوں سے ہوا تر کاغذ
جب لکھا ہم نے خط اشکوں سے ہوا تر کاغذ
یوں ہی ہر روز تلف ہوتے ہیں اکثر کاغذ
وہ پڑھیں بھی تو کھلے کیا مرے مکتوب کا حال
ہے سیہ فرط نگارش سے سراسر کاغذ
حسن خط سے مرے اتنا متعجب کیوں ہے
خط لکھا ہے تری تصویر پہ رکھ کر کاغذ
خط میں اندوہ گرانباریٔ غم لکھتا ہوں
توڑ ڈالے نہ کہیں بال کبوتر کاغذ
