پھر کیسے دل تپاں ٹھہر جائے
منزل کی مسافرو نہ پوچھو
مل جائے جسے جہاں ٹھہر جائے
اللہ رے خرام ناز ان کا
اک بار تو آسماں ٹھہر جائے
کیا جانئے قافلہ وفا کا
لٹ جائے کہاں کہاں ٹھہر جائے
یہ رات یہ ٹوٹتی امیدیں
اللہ یہ کارواں ٹھہر جائے
ہے موج میں سیفؔ کشتئ دل
معلوم نہیں کہاں ٹھہر جائے
