जलवोें से अयाँ तेरी हक़ीक़त नहीं होती
जलवोें से अयाँ तेरी हक़ीक़त नहीं होती
आईने में आईने की सूरत नहीं होती
क्या शाद रहे दहर में बाशिंदा अदम का
परदेस में जी लगने की सूरत नहीं होती
मुरझाए हुए दिल पे जमीं किस की निगाहें
कुम्हलाए हुए फूल की क़ीमत नहीं होती
पाबंदी-ए-आईन से मजबूर हैं वर्ना
दरबाँ को असीरों से अदावत नहीं होती
मैं क़ैद में हूँ और तसव्वुर मिरा बाहर
मजबूर की मजबूर तबीअ'त नहीं होती
सब कहते हैं आईना-सिफ़त है ये दिल अपना
और आइने में गर्द-ए-कुदूरत नहीं होती
