जिस में इक हुस्न-ए-तवाज़ुन हो वो नुदरत दी जाए
क्या क़बाहत है अगर फ़िक्र को वुसअ'त दी जाए
मशवरे क़ाबिल-ए-तस्लीम तिरे हैं कि नहीं
ग़ौर करने के लिए कुछ मुझे मोहलत दी जाए
मस्लहत झूट पे इंसान को माइल कर दे
इस क़दर सख़्त न ता'ज़ीर-ए-सदाक़त दी जाए
इस अमल से दिल-ए-फ़नकार पे क्या गुज़रेगी
ले के महताब अगर शम्अ' की क़ीमत दी जाए
सख़्त मुश्किल है ग़लत बात पे क़ाइल करना
एक दो हों तो उन्हें फ़हम-ओ-बसीरत दी जाए
बात तो जब है कि मम्नून-ए-बहाराँ हों सभी
फूल तो फूल हैं काँटों को भी नुज़हत दी जाए
चारा-ए-ग़म के लिए शर्त है इख़्लास 'नसीर'
कौन है शहर में ऐसा जिसे ज़हमत दी जाए
