jise haa.e pyāre tirī yaad ho
vo kab yād-e-gulshan se dil-shād ho
yuuñ ġhairoñ ko deve tū dād-e-suḳhan
aur ham par sadā haa.e bedād ho
ġhazab hai raheñ ġhair nazdīk yuuñ
are duur ho ham ko irshād ho
agar ek din aave vo mere ghar
to vīrān ghar merā ābād ho
hai 'rashkī' jo nāshād āshiq tirā
bhalā kyūñki tujh bin vo dil-shād ho

yun ghairon ko dewe tu dad-e-suKHan
aur hum par sada hae bedad ho
ghazab hai rahen ghair nazdik yun
are dur ho hum ko irshad ho
agar ek din aawe wo mere ghar
to viran ghar mera aabaad ho
hai 'rashki' jo nashad aashiq tera
bhala kyunki tujh bin wo dil-shad ho
