جو کچھ نہیں تھا وہی اب خدا بنا ہوا ہے
جو کچھ نہیں تھا وہی اب خدا بنا ہوا ہے
مگر میں چپ ہوں کہ اک سلسلہ بنا ہوا ہے
میں روشنی کی طلب میں ادھر بڑھا تو کھلا
کہ وہ چراغ نہیں آئنہ بنا ہوا ہے
ہوائیں چلتی رہیں بارشیں بھی ہوتی رہیں
شجر تنا ہوا ہے گھونسلہ بنا ہوا ہے
خود اپنے آپ سے اک دن سوال کر مظہرؔ
تو کس لیے ہے یہاں اور کیا بنا ہوا ہے
