KHayal-o-KHwab ki zulfen sanwar thoDi der
ḳhayāl-o-ḳhvāb kī zulfeñ sañvār thoḌī der
abhī hai aur shab-e-intizār thoḌī der
mohabbatoñ ke ye paikar ye dostī ke amiin
vafā ke hote haiñ sab pāsdār thoḌī der
abhī na rokiye in āñsuoñ ko palkoñ par
nikalne dījiye dil kā ġhubār thoḌī der
tamām umr rahā us kā intizār mujhe
jo kah gayā thā karo intizār thoḌī der
banā rahūñ maiñ tamāshā-e-ārzū kab tak
azaab mujh pe ḳhudāyā utaar thoḌī der
zarūr pighleñgī yaḳh-basta vādiyāñ 'betāb'
ruke to dhuup sar-e-kohsār thoḌī der
