یہ آنکھوں میں لہو کا رنگ بھر دیں
ہمیں ماضی کے نغمے مت سناؤ
یہ آوازیں ہمیں پاگل نہ کر دیں
ہمارے بس میں ہو تو شہر یاراں
تری راتوں میں بھی ہم نور بھر دیں
جہاں سر ہی نہیں ہوں گردنوں پر
وہاں جرم ضعیفی کس کے سر دیں
