pyāsī nazar se chuum liyā ham ne jis kā dar
qatre bhī infi.āl ke yuuñ tābdār the
rab jaise mehrbān thā bandoñ ke haal par
dil to laraz rahā thā gunāhoñ ke ḳhauf se
lekin duā yahī thī ilāhī muaaf kar
ik āshiqoñ kī bhiiḌ thī raqsāñ tavāf meñ
bārish bhī ik thī nuur kī ujle libās par
'sālim' bhī thā niDhāl sā ka.abe ke sāmne
lekin thā us ke qalb pe taskīn kā asar
kitne jatan ke baad hi pahunche the us ke ghar
pyasi nazar se chum liya hum ne jis ka dar
qatre bhi infial ke yun tabdar the
rab jaise mehrban tha bandon ke haal par
dil to laraz raha tha gunahon ke KHauf se
lekin dua yahi thi ilahi muaf kar
ek aashiqon ki bhiD thi raqsan tawaf mein
barish bhi ek thi nur ki ujle libas par
'salim' bhi tha niDhaal sa kabe ke samne
lekin tha us ke qalb pe taskin ka asar
